Currently, I only offer discounts to veterans, as my husband and I are also veterans. Eligible clients receive 10% off any package, but the military member must be the client or their spouse—it cannot be applied from other family members of the clients. A valid military ID or DD214 must be provided to receive the discount.
No. I do not offer alternate editing styles, and RAW images are only provided to photographers who inquire for branding or personal shoots. In all other cases, RAW files are not delivered.
Absolutely! I understand that photography is an investment, so I offer flexible payment plans to make it easier to book your session or wedding. Even nonrefundable retainers can be split into manageable payments. Once 50% of your total is paid, the retainer becomes nonrefundable, just as outlined in the contract. The remaining balance can be scheduled in payments leading up to your session or wedding date, making it simple to plan ahead.
Don’t worry—I’ve seen it all! I’m not afraid to make a complete fool of myself to get kids to smile. I might bribe them with games like tag or become the dreaded tickle monster—whatever it takes to help them warm up. In fact, 99% of the time, it works.
That said, if your child is naturally shy around strangers or has a fussy day, there’s always a chance we might not get the perfect smile.
My images stand out primarily through my editing style. While many photographers aim for true-to-color photos, I emphasize warm, golden tones that enhance natural light and create a soft, glowing feel. This approach gives your photos a timeless, inviting warmth that’s uniquely mine.
I’m selective about the studios I use to ensure your photos look their absolute best. I typically shoot at Studio 22 in Salem, Oregon, which features beautiful natural lighting, high ceilings, a variety of props, and a blank-canvas setup that keeps the focus on you. To cover the studio rental, there’s an additional $75 added to your session package.
Yes! For sessions outside my local area, travel is billed at 75¢ per mile for any distance beyond the first 45 miles one way. The initial 45 miles to the location, as well as the 45 miles on the return trip home, are included in your session price, so you only pay for mileage exceeding that distance. This keeps travel costs fair and transparent.
I focus exclusively on couples, families, and weddings. This allows me to dedicate all my time, energy, and creativity to capturing meaningful moments for these clients. By specializing, I can provide a higher level of service, attention to detail, and artistry, rather than spreading my work across many different types of sessions.
For most sessions, if rain or severe weather is in the forecast, your session will be automatically rescheduled. This policy is outlined in my contract. I typically monitor the weather a day or two before your session and will notify you 24–48 hours in advance if we need to adjust the date. Please note that this rescheduling policy does not apply to weddings—those dates are fixed and we plan for weather contingencies in other ways.
